Yes! Customers can send gift cards directly to recipients with a personalized message and choose the exact date and time they'll receive it. This is one of our core features that makes gifting more meaningful.
How long does it take to set up?
Most merchants are up and running in under 30 minutes. The setup process includes selecting your plan, choosing or uploading gift card images, setting your values, and customizing the look to match your brand.

What happens to gift card revenue in my Shopify reporting?
Gift cards issued through Govalo are processed via Shopify's Gift Card API, so they appear in your Shopify reporting under Analytics > Reports > Finances as part of your Gift Cards Balance, not as immediate revenue.
Can I customize the gift card design and experience?
Yes! You can upload multiple custom images, customize the UI colors and fonts, add your branding, and even add custom CSS on higher-tier plans. You have full control over how gift cards look and feel.
