How it works

1. The buyer chooses to send the product as a gift and enters the recipient’s name and email.
2. The recipient gets an email with a link to add their shipping address and pick their option, such as a size or color.
3. The buyer gets an email with a checkout link, already filled in with the recipient’s address and choice, and pays.
4. The order ships to the recipient.

Why merchants use it

• No awkward address request. The recipient enters their own, so the buyer never has to ask.
• The right size or color. The recipient picks the variant, which cuts down on returns and exchanges.
• The buyer still pays at checkout. You get a normal paid order, and the buyer stays in control of what they spend.
• Gifting beyond gift cards. Customers who want to give a specific product can do it, and you capture a sale you might otherwise lose.
